From sun-kissed vineyards to perfumed Alpine meadows and splendid glaciers. Beautiful walks through the 33,430 hectare Texel Nature Park, the largest and some say the most beautiful of all parks in the region, with deer and chamois to keep you company.
So, why not go on one of our guided walks and get a closer look – rocky outcrops and shady larch woods, tumbling streams where you can quench your thirst, meadows full of wild flowers, crystal-clear ponds, gushing waterfalls, living glaciers and welcoming little farmhouses where you can relax for a while and sample some tasty Speck with a glass of good red wine or fresh milk straight from the cow!

The Texel Group Nature Park House is well worth a visit. The exhibits show visitors what they will see on their walks and excursions through the area and there is a wealth of comprehensive information about the park itself, its inhabitants, their way of life and local plants and animals.
The Texel Group Nature Park covers an area of 33,400 hectares and is South Tyrol's largest park. Its motto is "From Water and From Light" and the park is full of fascinating contrasts from classic Mediterranean to more sparse high Alpine vegetation, dry terraced slopes to rich coniferous woods. There are many Waale paths along the water irrigation channels, lush meadows and significant, interesting cultural and historic references the inhabitants of the region and their way of life.
Perfect for both adults and children who want to get to know something more about nature. Three aquariums house pond newts, horned snails and tadpoles and provide a microscopic view of water life. An artist’s impression of nature at her moist colourful: the true feel, taste and small of nature.
