Biken
The Cycling Track starts from the Naturno railway station where an information board lists useful advice and tips. The route is well-maintained and clearly marked with signposts giving distances from one place to the next.
Route 7
| Description |
The 31.7 km. biking path also starts from the railway station bridge in Naturno and follows the river Etsch to the bridge in Rabland. It passes the Aschbach cable-car valley station and goes on through Plaus and past Dornsberg Castle back to Naturno. It then heads from the Naturnser Obstgenossenschaft, the Apple Co-operative Buildings, to the Niedermairhof in Tschirland, on to Staben and along the Pedruiweg path to Kastelbell where it crosses the river Etsch and goes past the Kastelbell Tourist Authority Offices on the river banks and on to the bridge near Hotel Sand, between Tschars and Staben. It crosses the river Etsch again here and climbs a little to Tabland and Tschirland to take you back to Naturno. You may prefer the less tiring alternative return route along the Pedruiweg path. |
